The Tam Union Governance Alliance ("TUGA") independently endorses, without coordination with any candidate or any committee controlled by a candidate, three candidates whose commitments align with what we believe this district needs. We oppose two current incumbents and one returning former trustee whose votes and public statements, documented on our record, are the reason TUGA was formed.

Trust in the board is earned in public. Complete agendas, accurate data, reasoning shared before a vote rather than after, and honest answers when families ask hard questions.
Success
Successful school programs
Great schools are built by great teachers and programs that produce measurable results for every dollar spent. We support teachers, evaluate programs on evidence, and expect every change to serve students better than what came before.
Community
Community input and representation
Families, educators, and neighbors are partners in the district's future, not audiences. Public comment is input, often including alternative ideas and proposed solutions, and deserves the time to be heard and genuinely considered.
Why we formed
The Tamalpais Union High School District serves some of the strongest public high schools in California. That excellence was built by decades of engaged families, dedicated educators, and thoughtful stewardship.
In recent years, the record has taken a different turn. Program changes rushed through without adequate public review of the evidence. Spending rising while outcomes decline. A governance culture marked by dysfunction and hostility that would not be tolerated on any of the district's campuses.
Tam Union Governance Alliance was formed by residents, parents, alumni, and educators who believe the students, families, teachers, and community members who rely on this district deserve better.
